The Upper East Side is a neighborhood in Manhattan, New York City, located between Central Park and the East River. Known for its upscale atmosphere and elegant brownstones, it is a popular residential and commercial district. Residential streets in the Upper East Side are lined with beautiful pre-war buildings, many of which have been converted into high-end co-ops and condos. The area is also home to a number of prestigious private schools and universities, including the Dalton School and Hunter College. Along the main commercial avenues, such as Madison Avenue and Lexington Avenue, you will find a plethora of high-end boutiques, luxury brand stores, and designer fashion houses. The Upper East Side is a popular shopping destination for both locals and tourists, with its numerous shops, department stores, and specialty boutiques. Museums and cultural institutions are also abundant in the Upper East Side, with the Metropolitan Museum of Art being the most notable. Other popular museums in the area include the Guggenheim Museum, the Museum of the City of New York, and the Cooper-Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum. The Upper East Side is also known for its wide variety of dining options, ranging from classic New York City delis to Michelin-starred restaurants. The neighborhood is particularly well-known for its selection of high-end French restaurants, but there are also plenty of other cuisines to choose from.

Additionally, I have plenty of units available in Long Island City, Murray Hill, Midtown East, Hell's Kitchen, Gramercy, and Upper West Side etc. Including doorman and brownstone buildings with outdoor space, patios, balconies, laundry and more. If this isn't your ideal place, let me know and I'm certain I can find it

UPPER EAST SIDE

The Upper East Side has a reputation of wealth and opulence. Once home to the wealthiest New Yorkers (like the Kennedys, the Roosevelts, and the Rockefellers), the UES is filled with ornate and beautiful buildings. Today, the Upper East Side is still considered one of the more expensive neighborhoods, however, in recent years, it has begun to see younger arrivals (people in their 20s and 30s) who are finding better deals up north, away from the Lower East Side and/or hip Williamsburg.

With the completion of the 2nd Avenue train, the neighborhood is only becoming more accessible to everyone as previously the only train servicing the UEW was the 4,5,6 on Lexington Avenue. Even better, the further east you go, the cheaper the apartments get. All this is only adding on to the interest from renters who no longer have to commute for as long to get to the area.
