CUNY Lehman College is the only four-year college in the Bronx. This institution offers both undergraduate and graduate studies in the liberal arts and sciences within a professional educational environment. The academic program of CUNY Lehman College is vast, with various undergraduate and graduate degrees to choose from. There are many departments ranging from STEM studies, language studies from all over the world, business sectors, and a track for self-determined studies. Lehman College students can choose from 76 undergraduate majors and 109 undergraduate minors, 5 undergraduate certificates, 65 master’s degree programs, two doctoral degree programs, and 36 advanced certificates. The five schools available are Arts and Humanities, Education, Health Sciences, Human Sciences, Nursing, Natural and Social Sciences, and Continuing and Professional Studies.
As of Fall 2021, there are 14,392 total students enrolled at CUNY Lehman College. 12,375 of those students were undergraduate, and 2,017 were graduate students. Over 10,000 students are enrolled in certificate, continuing education, and professional studies programs. The degrees awarded from 2020-2021 totaled 2,660 Bachelor’s Degrees, 773 Master’s Degrees, and 51 advanced certificates.

CUNY Lehman College has a large campus covering 37 acres of the Bronx. It is located between Bedford Park Blvd and West 195th Street in the Bronx, along Goulden Avenue, Paul Avenue, and parts of Jerome Avenue. To access this school by public transportation, you can take the 4 train at the Bedford Park Blvd - Lehman College subway station on Jerome Ave. Or, you can go to the Bedford Park Blvd Station in the Grand Concourse and take the B and D trains.
As of Spring 2021, Lehman College announced that it would be closing its housing program. Students, however, are eligible to receive housing in any other housing department affiliated with CUNY. The closest CUNY housing is the CUNY Towers at 401 W 130th St, New York, NY 10027.
