DESCRIPTION
When Olmstead and Vaux designed Prospect Park, they had no idea that someday the most exhilarating way to enjoy it would be from above.
This building is a stunning new rental that unveils breathtaking views of Prospect Park, the Manhattan skyline, and the storied streetscapes of Brooklyn.
Hugging the eastern edge of Prospect Park, Prospect Lefferts Gardens (or PLG as residents affectionately call the neighborhood) is a vibrant, historic district of tree-lined streets, elegant rowhouses, and bustling boutiques, cafes and restaurants.
Here, everything is convenient- from the Prospect Park recreational loops, meadows and zoo, the Brooklyn Museum and Botanic Garden, to the Q/B/2/5 trains, BAM, and Manhattan.
Residents enjoy an unparalleled array of services and amenities. Come home to a soaring, concierge-attended lobby. Relax by the fireplace in a penthouse lounge with breathtaking park and city views. Entertain your friends in the private penthouse chef's kitchen and bar. Play billiards. Sunbathe on the roof terrace. Or simply savor the peace and serenity of the courtyard garden.
Everything is here. Fully-equipped fitness center. Private screening room. Yoga studio. On-site parking for your car or bike. Pet grooming room. Children's playroom. Resident storage. Even your very own vegetable garden. Plus the latest and fastest technology for today's always-connected lifestyle.
Offering a dazzling range of intelligently-designed studio, one, two, and three-bedroom homes featuring hardwood floors, stone-clad baths, gourmet kitchens, spacious closets, in-unit washer & dryers, and expansive windows with spectacular park, city and neighborhood views.
Rising twenty-four stories above Prospect Park, this building has been designed and constructed to meet LEED Gold and ENERGY STAR® Standards and boasts an on-site Cogeneration facility to reduce its reliance on the grid, making it one of the greenest buildings in Brooklyn.
Here, you'll live the way you want to live - without compromise.

FLATBUSH
Just below Prospect Park is the residential neighborhood of
Flatbush. Quiet and calm, yet still close to the action, Flatbush
is a popular neighborhood with families and young professionals
alike due to its proximity to the park, fabulous restaurants, and
easy access to other parts of the city.
Established in 1651, Flatbush went by the name of "Midwout" when
it was still a young Dutch Colony. Once the British took over in
1664, Flatbush became the central area of the new King's County,
even being named the county seat. It would remain this way through
the 1700's and most of the 1800's being a large hub for merchants
and farmers.
Flatbush was incorporated into the larger city of Brooklyn in
1894 and subsequently turned into a residential neighborhood after
1898 when Brooklyn became a borough in the Greater New York City.
Construction on new apartment complexes, mostly mid-rise art deco
buildings, happened quickly as subway lines came to the area…
