DESCRIPTION
MUST SEE 3 BEDROOM and 2 BATHROOMS!
Turn of the (20th) century classic meets 21st century modern at the residences at 78 Prospect Park West. This majestic, 6-story, pre-war building offers exclusive rental apartments with either park, city, or courtyard views. With Prospect Park at your back, enter the building's beautifully restored lobby of stained glass and marble, and take the elevator to your quintessential Brooklyn home. Ebony stained oak floors greet you from the door and into the bedrooms. The drama continues into the kitchens, with a striking contrast to stainless steel Bertazzoni appliances, chrome fixtures, and Caesar stone countertops. Step into the bathrooms with black herringbone tile pattern flooring, and luxuriate in deep soaker tubs or under chrome showers from Kohler.
78 PPW is perfectly situated in the highly desirable Park Slope neighborhood, surrounded by artisanal shops and local cultural venues. Stay close to home and enjoy Prospect Park right outside the front door, always full of community events. If Manhattan, Williamsburg, or Greenpoint are your destinations, the F & G trains are mere blocks from home, as are the 2,3,4 trains at Grand Army plaza.

it was where the majority of The Battle of Long Island was fought
during the American Revolution. After the war, Park Slope would
remain farmland until roughly 1839, when the Brooklyn grid system
was drawn up. Farmers sold their land to the new city of Brooklyn
and row houses were soon built.
Park Slope was slow to develop since the area was hard to get to
in the 1800's. The neighborhood itself didn't see much construction
until the 1840's and 50's. However, Prospect Park was soon in
development in the 1860's and 70's, leading to an…
