DESCRIPTION
694 10th Street #2

A triplex replete with original details, modern conveniences, and an architect designed windowed kitchen overlooking a lovely garden is available for the first time to rent since the townhouse was constructed in 1888.

Upon entering you are greeted to a beautiful parlor floor with its lovely hardwood floors, an attractive newel post, pocket doors and high ceilings.  This floor is spacious for all your entertaining needs.  At the rear you have a fantastic kitchen built to maximize storage, offer ample counter space, easy workflow, and all while enjoying the treehouse-like views of the garden; there are also transom windows bringing in light to the dining room.  A small deck with stairs leading to the natural landscaped garden is just off the generous dining room.

The second floor has the primary bedroom overlooking 10th Street with its wonderful proportions, built-in cabinetry, pocket shutters and pass-through with working marble sinks leading to the second bedroom.  A nice bathroom with a soaking tub rounds out this floor.

The top floor has two additional bedrooms with working wash basins, a home office, second bathroom, and a laundry room.

From the bay windows on the first two floors to the magnificent Neo-Classical/Romanesque facade, this triplex breathes old world charm.  With Miele washer & dryer appliances, central air conditioning, ample closets and stainless steel appliances, 694 10th Street allows you to exhale with its modern creature comforts.

On a landmark park block, 10th Street is wonderfully located in Park Slope.  With Prospect Park practically at your doorstep you will get to enjoy one of the best parks New York City has to offer.  Farmer's markets are nearby at Bartel-Pritchard Square and Grand Army Plaza.  Nitehawk Cinema is nearby and the F & G trains are at 7th Avenue with an entrance at 8th Avenue and 9th Street.
