DESCRIPTION
The largest residence in the building, the 3rd Floor at 604 Lincoln Place is a sundrenched, sprawling newly renovated full-floor apartment with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom as well as dedicated home office and eat-in kitchen on a charming tree-lined street at  the nexus of Prospect Heights and Crown Heights, moments away from Prospect Park, The Brooklyn Museum, beloved Franklin Avenue and the 2, 3, 4 and 5 trains with service to Manhattan. Bathed in glorious light from open exposures and brand new oversized windows  throughout, the 3rd Floor is a rare, spacious and versatile home in a charming brownstone on a coveted Brooklyn block.

Entered off of a private landing, the 3rd Floor features a large central living room with each bedroom ideally situated at opposite ends of the apartment. To the North, a massive bedroom suite overlooks Lincoln Place through a pair of large double-hung windows,  drawing in warm sunlight from over the tops of the handsome prewar buildings across the street. En-suite to the bedroom, a large home office is surrounded in windows and can alternatively function as a nursery or decadent windowed walk-in closet, per your  needs. The second bedroom is gracious in size and located at the opposite end of the floor, facing South onto townhouse gardens. Both bedrooms are serviced by a central bathroom with a skylight located off of the foyer and clad from floor to ceiling in elegant  veined tile with a bathtub/shower.

There is a gorgeous newly renovated windowed eat-in kitchen with subway-tile backsplash and white stone countertops, enhanced by abundant cabinet storage as well as a huge dedicated pantry. The kitchen is exposed South with plenty of space for a breakfast bar  and is appointed with an oversized sink basin, a modern white refrigerator, a full-sized modern white gas range/oven as well as a mounted stainless steel microwave.

Built in 1899, 604 Lincoln Place is a beautiful specimen of elegant pre-war brownstone architecture with unique features owed to its vintage. With only three residences in the building, residents enjoy the peace, privacy and flexibility associated with brownstone  living as well as the convenience of a prime location in one of Brooklyn's most coveted neighborhoods. Prospect Park, The Brooklyn Museum and The Brooklyn Botanic Garden are truly minutes away, as is the vast array of fabulous cafes, restaurants and lifestyle  amenities (including dry cleaners and laundromats) along Franklin Avenue. For those who desire/need easy access to Manhattan, the 2, 3, 4 and 5 trains are by all definitions right around the corner.

CROWN HEIGHTS

Off the east side of Prospect Park in Central Brooklyn lies the diverse and lively neighborhood of Crown Heights. Mostly residential, this neighborhood also boasts a vibrant nightlife and restaurant scene that makes the area popular with young adults.

Fun Facts and History of Crown Heights

Crown Heights began its life a bit later than most Brooklyn neighborhoods, becoming a residential area only after the revolutionary war. However, once it got going in the early 1800's, it quickly became a haven for secondary homes of the wealthy King's County elite. This popularity only increased when train lines were extended to the area in the late 1800's.

While many of those older Victorian homes are still around, brownstone row houses were built in the early 1900's to thrust the area into the modern day. Around the 1950's Crown Heights began to see an influx of diversity with large populations of black and immigrant communities moving into the neighborhood.

The 1970's were a turbulent time…
