This unit would be great for someone currently working from home or just needing a quiet place to land at the end of the day!
The Room:
$1000+ utilities. Unfurnished with an optional A/C included. It comes with access to the common living room, bathroom, and kitchen, all pictured. You have total permission to change the bedroom to fit your needs! We are currently replacing the living room furniture as well so things are changing a bit from the photos as we try to improve the apartment.
About the Building:
Located between beautiful tree lined Riverside Park and bustling Broadway, the location is the best of both worlds. Steps away from the 1 train and a 10 minute walk to ABCD express. It's a quiet, secure building with an elevator, laundry facilities(currently being renovated) , a live-in super, and reliable mail delivery. The neighborhood features many chain and unique restaurants/bars, a CVS, Rite Aid, Key Foods grocery, and City MD steps away from the building. It's also steps away from Riverside State Park, which has tons of athletic grounds and beautiful walks along the Hudson.
About the roommates:
The three other roommates are a technician, security guard, and male actor in their 40s. We tend to keep non traditional hours but are also very respectful of those working a 9-5. The roommates aren't strangers, and pride themselves on creating a friendly and homey vibe. We will be as social and inclusive or as respectfully distant as you like. Cleanliness is a must and we all try to do our part in keeping the place clean and orderly. The apartment is LGBTQ+ friendly.

Harlem is enormous. Stretching from the East and Harlem Rivers
all the way to the Hudson, Harlem has three micro-neighborhoods
that make up this huge area. East or Spanish Harlem is vibrant and
colorful, Central Harlem is energetic and cultural, and West Harlem
is more suburban and chill. From 110th to 155th, Harlem has
something for everyone.
Harlem is so huge that each spot has its own unique history. For
example, West and Central Harlem were burned to the ground during
the American Revolution, whereas East Harlem wasn't really
developed until the 1860's. However, one fact remains consistent
for all of Harlem: That the population of the area exploded once a
prominent Black neighborhood was destroyed to make room for Central
Park.
