DESCRIPTION
After a smooth bus ride up to West 187th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue, I encounter this scene of neighborly faces, stores on each corner, restaurants and services open and ready for business. No breakfast sandwich for me, I have come to see a Sun Spot such as this. The building is on a tree-lined block and very well kept in the front. You must get buzzed in to enter the building. Upon doing that, it really opens up with a well lit lobby, clean and decorated in marble. It has an elevator, this six story building. Yes! I get to the apartment and open the door. The first thing that caught my eye was the pattern of paint on the wall. Very creative. The rooms were bright, and the floors were fresh and new. The main bedroom is spacious and may be able to accommodate many double sized (queen) bed frames and large furniture sets. The bathroom is standard with a deep tub and ceramic subway styled tiling decorating its area in a black and white finish. The closets are adequate for storage. The living room is a huge open canvas, with the window being the main attraction. The way it is set in the design gives a good lift to the area. The kitchen is stocked with maplewood cabinets, good countertop space, and the standard appliances that fit the separate space it rests in. This apartment is a great find that one may find comfort in. Contact me soon as it's still on the market.

with music" in this uptown neighborhood full of friendly faces,
great food, and beautiful architecture.
Named for Fort Washington, which was constructed to fend off the
British during the American Revolutionary War, Washington Heights
was largely farmland, with several stately manors peppering the
hilly area. One such manor, the Morris-Jumel House, still stands
today as the oldest building in Manhattan.
As the city expanded after the revolution, more and more
structures were built in the Heights to house the growing
population. The development of apartment complexes and row houses
led to an influx of Irish immigrants in the 1900′s, followed by a
large Jewish population in the…
