DESCRIPTION
This spacious, corner-unit alcove studio apartment is well under market value, especially since the Q train opened two years ago a short distance away. Two flights up on this tree-lined street you will find that this studio gets fantastic light and the living space has a large alcove, perfect for the bedroom area. With two full closets, a kitchen breakfast bar with a pass-through window, full sized appliances, ceiling fan, and recessed lighting, you have a great space for living and entertaining.

The Q express train is a few blocks away and the 4-5-6 just a short distance further. The area boasts popular stores such as Whole Foods, Sweetgreen, Chipotle, Fairway Market, Shack Shake, Bareburger, Urban Outfitters, Just Salad, and many more!

Check out the virtual tour listed and schedule a tour or view by open-house. The apartment is still tenant occupied and 24-hours notice is requested as to be respectful of their time and space.

400 E 78th Street welcomes cats; dogs are case-by-case with documentation- there is a super in the area to manage the day-to-day maintenance. Guarantors are accepted case-by-case with a simple and easy approval process. This landlord works with Rhino and The Guarantors as well.

Tenant pays their own heat (electric) and cable/internet.

UPPER EAST SIDE

The Upper East Side has a reputation of wealth and opulence. Once home to the wealthiest New Yorkers (like the Kennedys, the Roosevelts, and the Rockefellers), the UES is filled with ornate and beautiful buildings. Today, the Upper East Side is still considered one of the more expensive neighborhoods, however, in recent years, it has begun to see younger arrivals (people in their 20s and 30s) who are finding better deals up north, away from the Lower East Side and/or hip Williamsburg.

With the completion of the 2nd Avenue train, the neighborhood is only becoming more accessible to everyone as previously the only train servicing the UEW was the 4,5,6 on Lexington Avenue. Even better, the further east you go, the cheaper the apartments get. All this is only adding on to the interest from renters who no longer have to commute for as long to get to the area.

Boundaries of Upper East Side

The Upper East Side contains some smaller neighborhoods such as Yorkville, Lenox Hill, Carnegie…
