Exceptional Loft Living at 40 Walker Street, 2nd Floor

Welcome to 40 Walker Street, a beautifully restored former Tribeca textile merchant's building that perfectly melds clean lines with rich historical details. This expansive 1,900 sqft two-bedroom, two-bath loft is arguably the best of the three full-floor residences,  featuring the largest windows and soaring 11' ceilings that fill the space with natural light.

The stunning Italianate cast-iron fa ade sets the tone for this exceptional home, while the interior boasts warm exposed brick and a striking tin ceiling that recall a vivid past. Inside, the deep hue new wide-plank solid oak floors, paired with bright white  walls and recessed lighting, creates a dynamic and contemporary living environment.

A direct access elevator opens directly into the apartment, offering both convenience and privacy. The state-of-the-art kitchen is a chef's dream, equipped with an oversized Blanco sink, Sub-Zero refrigerator, Bosch convection oven, gas cooktop with a Gaggenau  hood, and new wine storage. Dark stained oak cabinetry and custom-cut Corian countertops echo the tones of the living area, enhancing the overall aesthetic.

The bathrooms boast pristine geometry, featuring poured concrete vanity counters, a Steamist steam shower, Zuma tub, Toto toilet, and slate gray stone floors with glass tile accents. The master bedroom includes a spacious walk-through closet that leads to the  luxurious master bath.

This residence offers a unique blend of old-world charm and modern finishes, making it perfect for the discerning renter looking for a loft that has a soul. The rare availability of such a spacious loft in Tribeca-more commonly found in SoHo-adds to its appeal  for those seeking an authentic living experience in this vibrant neighborhood.
Additional amenities include a cyber doorman, central heating and air-conditioning, a Bosch washer/dryer, and large pvt. storage in the basement.

Don't miss your chance to experience quintessential Tribeca loft living at its finest. These lofts often go many years without vacancies and move quickly!
