Kindly reply by email or website. 250 Warren St. A Spectacular Loft-like Gem Best North Location too. A skip to Boro Hall for all trains. Gorgeous tree lined block off Court Street! Some HIGHLIGHTS! 1. A Huge Bathroom Soak Tub. Its Enormous J 2. One Of a Kind Townhouse Top floor LOFTY space. 3. High Ceilings front to back!!! Views + Light filled. 4. The most perfectly laid out KITCHEN with Dishwasher + full appliances. 5. Location matters! Close to Court too (between Court + Clinton). 6. Gas Heat + Hot water included. Like that a lot! 7. Owner is Pet friendly. One please (trained). 8. Smoke-free dwelling 9. Character matters. Character/ Location/ Size equals. WINNER! 10. No virtual tours. No guarantors. Beyond your Imagination. In my 42 years I cannot remember an apartment like this one. Nothing like it! Throw in this picturesque tree lined North Cobble hill block and I have the shivers of a breathtaking apartment occupied for the past 10 years by a well-known chef. A top floor classic with iconic beauty. A "HUGE LIVING SPACE "as its almost all open save for a pleasant side windowed bedroom and an adorable back kitchen with the right amount of counter-space and views of trees just ready to bloom. The unobstructed light from one end of this deep floor thru to the other is just magnificent. Even the most poker-faced player cannot mute the slight grin on your face; an unmistakable nod giving away your interest. Ceilings span from 9.5 to almost 13FT. A wall of brick exposure provides a wonderful New Yorker mood with its 2 elegant marble mantles. Approximately 950 SQFT it's out there all by itself with NO competition, exuding confidence to anyone daring to challenge! This apartment " Is beyond your imagination". A quiet Townhouse where only 4 people currently reside. The start date can be a week before MAY 1. The apartment will get a day of make-over after 10 years once the renter departs but it's already in excellent condition. I had a photo shoot while the renter was already packing but you get the drift from the images. Once vacant so you can enjoy walking thru it and looking out the front and back of Warren Street at the lush trees and greenery. A few notes then my recommendation to make an appointment for your tour. The KITCHEN is lovely if NOT big. It does everything you need however to comfortably cook and prepare a full course meal with its generous counter-space and abundance of cabinetry. The cabinetry is significant as the ceilings are high so plenty of storage! The owner had foresight and really designed it to perfection. The BATHROOM has this incredible HUGE soaking claw ft. tub. Can I just embellish a little? It's TREMENDOUS! It's going to be re-glazed. Looks just fine as it is but the owner said I want the tub re-glazed, and I said fantastic! The bathroom has a SKYLIGHT too. It's a lovely bathroom and oh how this enormous bathtub for soaking will enhance your happiness! This owner is EXCEEDING my wish list. It's like a Grimm's Fairy Tale and always a happy ending. Makes my All-Time top 20 list in 42 years! The unit is tenant occupied but tours soon over a couple of days. COBBLE HILL
Classy and hip, Cobble Hill is a neighborhood with beautiful
brownstones and great restaurants. Surrounded by Carroll Gardens,
Boerum Hill, and Brooklyn Heights, this is one of the most sought
after neighborhoods in the borough.
When Cobble Hill was colonized by the Dutch, the area was used
as farmland and a fort. The fort would stay standing throughout the
American Revolution, and was one of the places George Washington
retreated to after the Battle of Long Island.
Cobble Hill was made part of Brooklyn in 1834. In the 1850's,
Brooklyn became extremely popular, and Cobble Hill built a ton of
row houses that are still standing to this day. By the 1880's,
Cobble Hill was packed with middle and upper class residents.
Cobble Hill escaped most of the negative moments NYC faced
during the 20th century. An influx of immigrants kept the
neighborhood afloat during the depression and a revitalization
effort saw brownstones being fixed up before the…
