DESCRIPTION
Incredible apartment on a super high floor with amazing views. The building itself has every amenity, all free. It has a rooftop and rooftop lounge on the 51st floor, another lounge and garden on the fourth floor, a gym, 24/7 doorman, secure package room with 24/7 access, children's playroom, and four fast and working elevators. The building name is "The Brooklyner" if you'd like to check it out for yourself.
The apartment itself is a true 1 bedroom, has an in-unit washer/dryer, a full kitchen, full bathroom with tub, and has views of the Hudson and Statue of Liberty along with a very spacious living room. There is also a full garage if you have a car. You will never hear your neighbors, the building is constructed really well. There are no other 1 bedroom units in this building at this rate anymore, especially with the washer/dryer. I am only moving because my job is closer to upper Manhattan now so I am moving closer to there. I have had the best time living here and wouldn't give this unit up if I didn't have to. Apartment is 618 sf.
Less than a 5 minute walk to the A,C,R,F,2,3,4,5 trains.
I am looking for someone to sublet the unit for 3 months starting December 1st, but the landlord would definitely let you sign a full 12 month lease either after the initial 3 months or right when you sign at market rate. The apartment will be cleaned and ready for you the day you move in.
The apartment is going to be unfurnished, but If you like any of the furniture in the pictures, let me know and we can work something out.

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN
Located by DUMBO, Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Fort Greene,
Boerum Hill and Vinegar Hill, Downtown Brooklyn is considered the
central business district for Brooklyn. Right in the heart of the
action, those looking to live here will have access to parks,
schools, and an easy commute to Manhattan.
Downtown Brooklyn was one of the first parts of the borough to
be settled by the Dutch. When the British took over in 1664, the
area was turned into the central business district for the City of
Brooklyn.
Although the rest of the city was relatively indifferent to the
Slave Trade, Downtown Brooklyn was the rare exception. Full of
abolitionists, this neighborhood provided the massive support need
to get slavery abolished in New York in 1827.
After Brooklyn became part of New York City in 1898, business
ramped up in Downtown Brooklyn, but the number of people wanting to
live there ramped up as well. Today, Downtown Brooklyn is equal
parts…
