DESCRIPTION
1076 Dean Street is a newly renovated townhouse situated on one of Crown Height's most desirable streets. Refreshing and sleek, this cozy 1 bedroom reflects a contemporary way of living in a vintage brownstone. Natural light floods the apartment from the newly-treated oversized windows that nearly reach the 11' ft high ceilings. Modern touches in the bathroom, and updated Stainless Steel appliances in the kitchen compliment the unit's traditional features such as hardwood flooring, exposed brick and elegant trim around the windows.

From the outside, the townhouses' tasteful red exterior sits comfortably amongst Brownstone, Limestone, and Victorian homes that dot this pristine block. On the inside, you'll be greeted with a cozy entrance after entering with a user friendly-keypad. Either head up one flight to apartment #3, downstairs to access the building's communal laundry, or soak in the Manhattan Skyline from the roof.

Close to bars, eateries, shopping facilities, green-spaces (Prospect Park, and the Botanical Garden to name a few), multiple train lines (A/C, 4/5 and the S) and bus routes (B45, B65, B44, SBS B44, B48, and the B43), 1076 Dean is your access key to the best that Brooklyn has to offer. Fun Facts and History of Crown Heights

Crown Heights began its life a bit later than most Brooklyn neighborhoods, becoming a residential area only after the revolutionary war. However, once it got going in the early 1800's, it quickly became a haven for secondary homes of the wealthy King's County elite. This popularity only increased when train lines were extended to the area in the late 1800's.

While many of those older Victorian homes are still around, brownstone row houses were built in the early 1900's to thrust the area into the modern day. Around the 1950's Crown Heights began to see an influx of diversity with large populations of black and immigrant communities moving into the neighborhood.

The 1970's were a turbulent time…
