DESCRIPTION
This is a beautiful, newly renovated, large one bedroom and one bathroom apartment. It is approximately 750-800 sq feet. The apartment also has a balcony with netting. My wife and I love it here, but due to his new job need to relocate. We are looking for someone to take over our lease!! We pay $2053 a month. It is rent stabilized and so is the electric!

The apartment has two doors to enter. You enter into a small mudroom which is perfect for shoes and umbrellas. It has a foyer with an open pass through kitchen, with space available for stools. There are brand new stainless steel appliances and plenty of cabinet space. The floors throughout the apartment are dark wood. The living is plenty big for a nice sized couch, table, coffee, end tables, and TV stand. There are two new AC units in both living and bedroom. In the foyer there is a large coat closet. Before the bedroom there is a large linen closet as well. There is a newly renovated bathroom with tile backsplash in the shower/tub. The bedroom is very large with room for easily a king sized bed, two dressers, end tables, and has two closets, one if which is a full walk in.

Parker Towers is around a 7 minute walk to the E/F/M/R trains at 71st Avenue and a 7 minute walk to the Long Island RailRoad. Austin Street is great for shopping and eating, as well as a NYSC.

Again, we are looking for someone to take over the remainder of our lease, which ends December 22nd. You would be able to renew the lease as well at that time. There is a $75 dollar application fee and first month and security is required at signing. Your salary has to cover 30x the rent.

Please contact us if you want to schedule an appointment to view to the apartment!

FOREST HILLS

Forest Hills is a lush, beautiful residential neighborhood in the middle of Queens. Surrounded by many neighborhoods including Corona, Rego Park, and Kew Gardens, Forest Hills leans more into the suburban lifestyle rather than a gritty city one. The houses are big, the shopping is plentiful, and the people who live here never run out of things to do.

Fun Facts and History of Forest Hills

In the early days, Forest Hills was made up of six large farms. In 1895, the area just beneath those farms was being transformed into a park known as Forest Park. In 1906, developers bought the six large farmlands in order to develop them into a neighborhood, which would be named Forest Hills as a tribute to the neighboring park.

Forest Hills divided ownership of the neighborhood in 1908 when Margaret Sage, founder of the Russell Sage Foundation, bought 142 acres from the development firm. She christened the area Forest Hills Gardens and commissioned architects to build tudor style housing in the…
