How To Achieve The Best Listing Quality When Advertising On RentHop
Listing quality relies heavily upon the completeness and accuracy of your listing. Renters want to see listings with quality photos and descriptions that accurately represent the unit. Having an ambiguous or incorrect listing may cause the following issues:
- Turn the renter away from inquiring about your advertised unit and towards another user with a more descriptive listing.
- Lead to disappointment and the feeling of being bait-and-switched.
To create the most complete listing possible, make sure to do the following:
Include High-Quality Photos
RentHop allows users to upload up to 20 images (the more, the better). Photos that are 640×420 or that have an equivalent width: height ratio work best.
Provide A Detailed Description
Provide a detailed description and list all available apartment features and building amenities. Use proper grammar and avoid ALL CAPS. Be as clear as possible and make sure that all the details included in the description are accurate.
Keep The Title Clean and Simple
Avoid excessive CAPS and special characters. Studies have shown that titles with excessive all caps and special characters give renters the impression that the listing is fraudulent – i.e. BEAUTIFUL***APARTMENT***CHELSEA.
Double Check The Listing Location On The Map
Set an accurate location on the map. The location of the listing on the map is automatically generated from the address you’ve provided our system. If the mapped location is not correct, the full street address might not have been inputted correctly. Either try again or email support@renthop.com to help you out!
