Post Your No-Fee Manhattan Apartment

After months of catering mostly to apartment hunters and large property management landlords, RentHop has now launched a special program for smaller-scale landlords to post a no-fee Manhattan apartment.ย  Visitors to our site will now be able to tap into no-fee listings from the largest and smallest landlords in Manhattan, all at no charge!

For Landlords and Property Managers

RentHop.com thrives on placing apartment hunters in direct contact with landlords, leasing offices, and management companies of no-fee apartments. Our visitors trust that every listing found on our site is listed by a landlord or no-fee broker, that the address and photos on the site are genuine, and that the contact information we provide is the most direct path to a signed lease.

Listing Requirements

If you are a landlord interested in posting a no-fee listing on our site, you must be willing to let us publish the following:

  • Full street address of the building
  • Valid phone number and email address for access contact
  • A website link containing the unit, building, or management company details
  • Hours in which the unit is available for viewing
  • Photos of the specific unit
  • An accurate list of building amenities

Apartment hunters visiting our website expect to see only no-fee apartments in the New York City area.ย  We will investigate any reports of landlords attempting to collect a broker fee. Landlords found to be violating our terms may have their accounts suspended or terminated.

Cost of Posting a Listing

Posting a listing to RentHop.com is 100% free! (Edit: ย Starting in 2011, the price for posting is 5 credits; still a very low amount compared to the cost of an extended vacancy, but high enough to curb spam and ensure higher quality no-fee listings on the site). ย Our goal has always been to empower our users with all of the information they need to find apartments on their own.ย  Additionally, we also offer a free no-fee agent service where our affiliated agents provide full broker services and receive compensation directly from landlord incentives. We currently do not charge either the apartment hunter or the landlord
to use all of the features of our site.

Create a Landlord Account

To create a landlord account, you must register for normal user account and then contact listings@renthop.com. Indicate in the subject of the email ‘New Landlord Account Request’ and provide relevant information about your unit and company. We will respond to your request within 24 hours. For more information, visit our Landlord FAQ.
