Nightmare roommate(s)? Tell us more!!

Go on over to our FB page (and like us while you’re there!), or tweet us at @renthop. Let us know if you roommate story occurs in a small town, or a city like New York City. How long have you been living with the person or people, and what was the big event that turned the situation sour? In our experiences, a bad roommate sitaution typically turns into a nightmare roommate situation after some inflammatory action.

Now, we don’t to turn you off from renting an apartment with roommates. In most cases, this is a cost-effective way to rent an apartment and build your rental history. You can either go into an apartment with an existing group of friends, or use roommate-matching services to find an opening in a current unit. Some real estate agents will help you find a room in an open apartment.
