Brooklyn Deals: Listings at $3500 and Below in December

New York City can certainly be a pricey place to live. There’s always a surge of demand from incoming renters, but a lack of supply. However, due to seasonality and also the new Omicron strain of COVID-19, we’re now seeing demand from renters drop slightly week-over-week. While this hasn’t drastically impacted the number of concessions offered by landlords, we anticipate that certain buildings may start offering more lucrative deals to attract renters.

Thankfully, Brooklyn, as always, has affordable options remaining for renters who want to be close by to Manhattan but still far enough from the hustle and bustle of the city. Countless restaurants and gorgeous parks (McCarren Park and Prospect Park to name a few) certainly bolster this borough’s appeal. If you want quick access to the many perks NYC has to offer without breaking the bank, peruse the list below for some of the best Brooklyn rental deals this December.

Methodology

Released on a monthly basis, the RentHop Best Deal series aims to provide renters with useful market insights and a chance to identify rental gems currently available on the market. These listings are hand-selected by the team at RentHop based on a few factors, including layout, apartment size, features, and more importantly, price โ€” such listings will be on average 10% – 30% below the median asking price of other similar-sized listings in the same neighborhood.

Note that, given the fast-paced nature of the rental market in New York, certain listings may receive applications and be taken off within days on market. If you are interested in scheduling a showing or have further questions, please make sure to submit an inquiry via the inquiry submission form located on the listing page.
