While the median price for an apartment in the borough decreased to $4,295 this month, and those who wish to rent in popular neighborhoods must prove ready to dig into their pockets. No matter the time of year a renter is looking for a Manhattan apartment, they must remain vigilant if they attempt to find a deal.

As fall transitions into winter, renters can still find apartments with criteria on their wish lists. Those who are in the market for a new home can also acquire lower rents than during the summer season. The following units over laundry rooms, renovated kitchens, and elevators.
