Zak is a New York City native who grew up downtown and currently lives in Chelsea. He has been involved in the real estate business since 1999, and is a consummate professional (and perfectionist) who loves getting the job done quickly and efficiently. Yet closing a deal successfully is not the only goal. Zak also takes time to understand his client's needs, build a strong relationship, and provide patient guidance in finding the home of their dreams.
Building on his experience as an agent known for achieving excellent results, Zak joined Weichert to capitalize on the industry's best resources. Prior to working as a rental and sales specialist, he gained valuable expertise in agent support roles for a real estate company handling listings and management. Zak also previously assisted the rental director of a large brokerage firm, helping to close a large number of deals all over Manhattan. In addition, he's done many corporate relocations, which requires great attention to detail and effective communication with multiple parties.
When it comes to his strong points, one of Zak's clients put it best: "Zak was extremely organized, efficient and flexible with his schedule. He was also knowledgeable about the neighborhoods and the real estate market in general. Perhaps most importantly, Zak was really fun to be around! The cold weather and itinerary were both intense, and it was his enthusiasm and positive attitude that helped make our search so successful."
Zak's free time is filled up with bike racing and training, photography, and kiteboarding. He has been a road bike racer for over 10 years, and has served as VP of racing on the board of directors of the CRCA, one of America's largest bike racing clubs. Zak has also coached for Star track, a youth cycling and mentorship program, and is a proud father.
