My name is Troy Gaskin and I am happy to come into the Corcoran family as an Associate Broker. I bring to the table over 18 years of experience in the real estate business.
Over that time I have done several hundred rentals representing the owner, the management company or the tenant. I have also effected the sale of over 50 townhouses, single family, multlple family, co-ops and condo's all over NYC, Westchester County and Long Island. I have a particular expertise handling estate sales.
I attended Stuyvesant High School here in New York City. I went to Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans. My major was Accounting and Business Administration.
Before becoming a real estate broker I worked in banking on Wall St. for several years after college. I then ran my family's skin and haircare business selling our patented Melanin Plus products. I had also worked for a short time in the school system. I was a math teacher and also worked as a dean for troubled students.
In my spare time, I am passionate about the growth and potential of our next generation. I serve as a mentor to our youth through sports, particularly basketball. Also, I mentor youth on their academic pursuit of excellence.
Happily married to my wife of 27 years. I have a daughter who graduated from Cornell University - The Hotel School and a son who is autistic. Family is the center of my world.
