I worked with Greg Hudson from Citihabitats and he was simply amazing. After seeing several apartments with some other brokers I was left with a bad taste for brokers in general because of their unprofessionalism and inability to work with the client and their specific needs. Seemed like they were all just trying to get a quick fee. I contacted Greg about a specific apartment he listed and I could tell from our initial conversation that he was different from the other brokers. He was extremely pleasant and genuinely interested in finding me something that was within the parameters I was looking for. Although the initial apartment we saw did not work out, I continued to use Greg exclusively for my search. I had some very specific requirements and preferences which made the search more difficult than most, and Greg was respectful of them and only showed me apartments which satisfied my criteria and within the budget I had set, but also thinking outside the box and showed me things that I would never have thought of but which ended up being perfect. Greg went above and beyond and was happy to work around my schedule and continued to show me apartments until I found something that I was happy with. I was not in a rush to sign a new lease and he never once pressured me into anything and went through the pros and cons of each place with me - I felt he was very honest throughout the whole process and was extremely helpful right until the end. I would definitely use Greg again and will be recommending him to anyone I know who is in the market for an apartment in New York.
