Hello to all my Future Clients,
I wanted to dedicate this space to the prospect Tenant. It's important that everyone is "Ready...Set...Rent" You can always ask me about myself whenever you like. Also take look at all my listings and my Citi-Habitats Site (Link below).
Here are some Early Renter Tips:
1. Be Organized: I can't emphasize enough how important it is to have paperwork from all tenants & guarantors ready. Finding the right place is usually easier than submitting a complete application. This is because prospect tenants are always unaware as to what to have ready ahead of time. Ask me and I will get you aligned beforehand. Be ready 6-4 weeks out. Also for multiple room apartments, have all prospect tenants ready to see it together. It makes decision making easier, and it prevents having to see the unit twice. It might be lost by then.
2. Quality over Quantity: It's OK to work with multiple agents, but do you really want all those emails, and all those phone calls from us? Probably not that's why, be selective as to what areas you are looking for and choose (maybe) one agent. At that point determine if they can get you access to the units you inquired about, but also a few more. The last thing you want is to be overwhelmed, and confused as to what you inquired for and which agent is which.
3. Be Courteous & Honest: For most of us agents, we thrive on assisting prospect tenants. I like to be honest from initial contact. If you are working with multiple agents, that's great but no need to hide it. Tell us, we do it all the time.
4. Write it down: If you have already seen places, its recommended to log it somewhere. Therefore agents don't end up showing you the same place twice. I wouldn't want to ruin the experience. Some areas may have limited inventory, therefore I can narrow the search down.
5. Be Realistic: Location...Location...Location... that's what Manhattans is all about. The closer to transit, the more amenities, the most convenient to hot spots ect...ect, always will come with a cost before the apartment itself. Understand that many people search with similar "wants vs needs" as you. Be ready to move fast on a unit, and understand the market, otherwise...ask me. I am a numbers guy at heart.
6. Ready...Set...RENT!!!! If you are ready to have a great time viewing a few places... I am your Agent!!! I am a traditional minded agent. Phone calling is a lost art. Never hesitate to call me.
