Alan definitely went above and beyond his job. 5 stars really isn’t enough to give it to him. We found Alan online just like the way we search for good restaurants on yelp. Mike was ranked number 1 with all the good positive reviews. But unlike yelp could be unreliable at times, Alans’s excellence is really solid and consistent. As renting a NYC apartment for the first time, we really couldn’t be happier that we found him. Alan has so many clients at hands but I was amazed by how he was still able to respond to my emails and phone calls in a very timely manner. It’s not just about the deliver on time; it’s the accuracy of his response and the knowledge he has that really makes the whole rental process smooth.
Alan is a very charming and helpful broker. Although we decided to go with something else we really appreciated the time and dedication he put into finding us a good fit. I will recommend him to others.

Alan is highly responsive, a great listener, and really applies his understanding of the city to help you find exactly what you need.My boyfriend and I both had out of state job transfers to the city, with quiet a list of everything we were looking for within a serious time limit. We had 3 days budgeted to look, and Alan came fully prepared to show us all the city had to offer. He actually found us our perfect apartment the FIRST day, all because of his thorough scheduling where we saw 9 different apartment buildings in less than one day. He didn't waste anytime showing us apartments out of our budget, or that required major sacrifices, and was truly motivated by finding us exactly what we needed.When it came to signing the leasing papers, etc., Alan was highly involved throughout each step of the process and helped answer any of our questions along the way (ex., which subway lines can I take to my office, where is the nearest grocery store, is this documentation sufficient for proof of income..).If you are looking for someone who is truly motivated by your needs and what you are looking for in your future new home, then we both highly recommend using Alan to make your next search stress free and even fun.
I've heard many horror stories about apartment hunting in New York. So my goal was to test out a few brokers and then choose one that I was most comfortable with. I spoke to 4-5 brokers and Alan was by far the most prepared. The best part about working with him was that he seemed to instantly get exactly what I wanted. I had a very specific list of requirements and not much time. He managed time well and didn't rush or force me into anything. We saw at least 10 different apartments, and he made sure that I saw a couple more after I found "the one" just to make sure "the one" was indeed the one. On top of that, Alan's a chill, straight up guy, which makes everything better.
All in all, I would genuinely and highly recommend him!
