I had such a good experience working with Sachiko finding my place. I was moving to NY from San Francisco. While I was still in SF, Sachiko spent some time with me on the phone, carefully listened to me and figured out my taste and the type of places I was looking for. Believe me when I say that Sachiko is a gem. This review is to help parents, especially for those who don't live in NY and are tasked to help their loved one find a new home in NYC. Do not worry. Sachiko will not only take care of you and your loved one, she will make the entire process pain- and hassle-free. I live in Hawaii, and son is in his first year of college in NYC. Despite the distance, not having any family or friends in NY, and really not knowing the rental market and what's involved, I was able to work with Sachiko via emails and phone calls to get son an apartment in two days. Two. She really took the time to understand what my son was looking for, his budget, concerns he may have as a student. She listened, made suggestions, and gave advice. As my son's guarantor, Sachiko explained the entire rental process, warned me that the market in NYC moves extremely quickly, and gave me the heads-up on the documents I needed to provide once son found a place. Sachiko was always proactive so there were no surprises. Not one. Son found a place on a Saturday, Sachiko called me with the next steps moving forward and what I needed to do. From the very beginning, Sachiko assured me that she would do her level best and take care of my son. I didn't have to worry. I contacted Sachiko about an apartment I was interested. She was in contact with me very promptly. Within a few days we did an apartment tour to look at my options and ultimately I went with my intail choice. Sachiko made it a speedy process.
