F. Lamonte Ball
Agent Profile
Lamonte's real estate philosphy? Less "selling", and more finding the right fit. "Ultimately, it's where you spend the most important moments of your life. So it's all about you!"

A self-described real estate enthusiast, Lamonte has had a prior career in the entertainment business working for several major record companies as an A&R rep including RCA Records and Universal-Motown helping to build some of the biggest global music stars today. In addition to real estate, in recent years he has been a creative music publishing executive (the real estate of the music business), talent manager, and project management entrepreneur.

Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Lamonte first began his career at Atlanta's LaFace Records in the 1990s. And since relocating in 2000, he's become the quintessential New Yorker. The fast-paced world of the music business with its late nights, early mornings, "make-it-happen" work culture, and frequent last minute power meetings ensured that Lamonte quickly learned Manhattan and his new home, Bed-Stuy Brooklyn, in thorough detail.

Lamonte has practiced real estate for the past three years beginning in Manhattan and later relocated to serve the red hot Brooklyn rental and sales markets in the neighborhoods that he loves. His professional but fun demeanor, plus career-groomed exceptional follow-through will make finding your next apartment or home both an enjoyable and thorough experience.

Lamonte graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta with an AA in Music Business Management, and later a Bachelor's Degree in Business from the City University of New York.

Still a resident of the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn, in his free time Lamonte enjoys all things health and fitness, weightlifting, tennis, cycling, swimming, and especially music, of course! He is also an avid political junkie as well as a movie and history buff.
