Isaiah is very kind and helpful, and he helped us find an apartment that fit our needs very quickly. The resources and knowledge he has made the apartment search much more streamlined. Isaiah is also a very enthusiastic and his warm human, and his optimistic attitude definitely made the stressful process of apartment hunting a lot less stressful for us.
I do not have enough good things to say about Isaiah. I came to NYC to find an apartment on an extremely tight timeline. Looking in both the Upper East Side, and Brooklyn, we had a lot of ground to cover. Isaiah was patient, understanding, communicative, and very easy to get along with. Isaiah provided an AMAZING broker experience (as someone who's heard horror stories of brokers). I appreciated his constant candor, transparency, and questions to help me find exactly what I was looking for. He knows the ins and outs of real-estate in NY, from knowing when a property is underpriced and having to bid over listing, to having amazing relationships with landlords to get his client approved over multiple applicants. The apartment I wanted had multiple applications, but it was through Isaiah's relationship and connections that he got me approved and had my lease signed within 24 hours. Prior to Isaiah, we had tried to find a NYC apartment on our own using various websites. It was fruitless! Apartments were gone practically immediately. I will start by stating I had an abstract and nearly impossible list of must haves when I approached Isaiah to help my boyfriend and I in our apartment search. Thanks to Isaiah I have just signed a new lease on my dream apartment! To provide some background, I have lived in NYC for about 3 years now and this will be the 4th apartment I am moving into. Isaiah was a fantastic broker that went well above what we expected. He took the time over 2 days to not only show us apartments tailored to our responses to other showings, but also helped us understand the market. He was always available for us and further would vet any other properties we had seen on our own to find any potential issues with them. If anyone needs a broker I highly recommend him.

As a first-time renter and newcomer to NYC, I had such a positive experience with CitiHabitats. After trying and failing for days to find an apartment in my price range using StreetEasy, PadMapper, etc to connect with other brokers, this company was like a breath of fresh air. Extremely professional and organized - really made me feel like I was in good hands. Every step of the process felt transparent and un-scammy. They really worked with me patiently despite my own unique obstacles (paperwork issues, banking troubles, etc. - I was probably not the easiest client and yet they did not bat an eyelash).
