DESCRIPTION
At 1600 interior square feet, this glorious 3 bedroom plus bonus room, 2 bath condo is as large as some townhouses and will simply take your breath away from the moment you walk in. Part of a stylish and impeccably designed 12-unit condo building, perfectly  located on one of Crown Heights' tree-lined blocks in the historic district, Apartment 1, will leave you want for nothing. This duplex is not only sized like a house but feels like a whole house with an impressive combination of interior space along with a  charming and sizable rear yard oasis.
As you enter, you are bathed in light from oversized windows and glass doors that face both North and South. The open floor plan on this level was made for entertaining and cooking complicated (or simple) meals with friends and family. As they gather around  the quartz waterfall center island countertop you can show off your inner chef with your top-of-the-line Bertazzoni appliances. The 2 large bedrooms with ample closets are nestled in the back along with a beautifully designed full bathroom.
Head down the wood and iron staircase to the open garden level which is perfect for your growing party as they spill out onto the well manicured back yard where you will be sipping rose and watching the fireflies on those languorous summer evenings. This enormous  floor has many options - a media room, a gym, a guest room - you decide. It also features a powder room and a laundry room.
Live in the midst of all that Crown Heights has to offer along with the benefit of Bed-Stuy just across Atlantic. Crown Heights is brimming with coffee shops like Breukelen Coffee House and Little Zelda, along with fun and lively beer gardens such as Bergn'  and Franklin Park. Only 2 blocks away you will find the express train at the Utica Avenue station on Fulton Street. But really, other than work, why would you ever leave?

However, once it got going in the early 1800's, it quickly became a haven for secondary homes of the wealthy King's County elite. This popularity only increased when train lines were extended to the area in the late 1800's.

While many of those older Victorian homes are still around, brownstone row houses were built in the early 1900's to thrust the area into the modern day. Around the 1950's Crown Heights began to see an influx of diversity with large populations of black and immigrant communities moving into the neighborhood.

The 1970's were a turbulent time…
