The openness should be conveyed with photos.  I would stand in the greatroom/family room and take the photo to include the kitchen and same thing from the dining room.

Backyard to be included!  I would again stand next to the fence and take the yard to include the back of the property.

The apartment is a unit offered at a monthly price of $1,895. The manager specfically mentions dogs are allowed but strangely has not mentioned cats. It may be an oversight or the building may really not allow cats. We recommend inquiring about the specifics of the pet policy..
