Right above Kings Pharmacy, across the street from a great bodega. Neighbors are very friendly and respectful; tenants tend to stay in building for many years, so the building feels like a community.
Extremely conveniently located at corner of Reade and Hudson; two minutes from 1,2,3, a block from A,C,E, 5 mins from 4,5,6,J trains. Permanently closed off Hudson St next to building, which is now a communal park/recreation space with picnic tables and chairs. A few blocks from Whole Foods, Equinox, lots of restaurant and cafes. Two blocks from West Side Highway River Parkway – a wonderful amenity with park space – including space to run, free kayaking, mini golf, beach volley ball courts.

Originally used for farmland after the colonization of the
Dutch, the land was given to Trinity Church in 1705. The church
would own the area for over 100 years, building separate churches
and living spaces for the growing population. These homes would
later be recognized as one of NYC's first residential neighborhoods
beyond the original colonial boundaries.
By the 1840's, several piers had been built in the area, which
encouraged trading ships to land there rather than navigate the
more difficult East River. This made industry in the area explode,
