Public safety has always been an important factor renters take into account when deciding where to live. Unfortunately, due to a sharp increase in population growth and a stagnant number of police officers available to respond to crime, Minneapolis is considered one of the top 50 most dangerous major cities in America in recent years. However, for those currently looking to live in Minneapolis, there\u2019s a bit of a silver lining. According to the newly released FBI UCR statistics for the year 2018, Minneapolis experienced 47 crimes per 1,000 population, 18% fewer than in 2017, which was 57.4 crimes\/per 1,000 population.<\/p>\n
