One of those new features is our Rental Heatmaps. (Our friends at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ny.curbed.com\/archives\/2014\/05\/22\/heatmap_visualizes_hot_or_not_neighborhoods_for_rentals.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Curbed NY<\/a>\u00a0wrote about the Heatmaps last week!)<\/p>\n<h2>What are Rental Heatmaps?<\/h2>\n<p>The\u00a0Rental Heatmaps\u00a0give access for the first time to aggregated real-time rental price data at the neighborhood level for many major metro areas in an easy-to-use map-based format. The Heatmaps show:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>25<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0percentile, 50<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0percentile and 75<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0percentile rents for different floorplans in each neighborhood;<\/li>\n<li>For each neighborhood, a comparison of the neighborhood\u2019s median rent to the overall metro area\u2019s median rent; and<\/li>\n<li>Year-over-year rent trends on a per-neighborhood basis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Why are we so excited?
