How long have you been living with the person or people, and what was the big event that turned the situation sour? In our experiences, a bad roommate sitaution typically turns into a nightmare roommate situation after some inflammatory action.<\/p>\n<p>Now, we don&#8217;t to turn you off from renting an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.renthop.com\/apartments-for-rent\/new-york-ny\/room\">apartment with roommates<\/a>. In most cases, this is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.renthop.com\/guides\/nyc\/how-much-rent-can-i-afford-nyc\">cost-effective<\/a> way to rent an apartment and build your rental history. You can either go into an apartment with an existing group of friends, or use roommate-matching services to find an opening in a current unit.
